The position is expected to perform work at all levels of accounting, including journal entries, month-end close activities, reconciliations, and financial analysis, while also managing and supporting the accounting team.\n\nThe Controller will prepare monthly GAAP financial statements, including consolidated financial statements; present financial results to the executive team; develop annual budgets; identify financial trends and performance issues; and support management decision-making. This role will lead an accounting team of two and will be responsible for organizing, delegating, and prioritizing the department’s weekly and monthly responsibilities.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n\nOversee day-to-day accounting operations\nGL, AR, AP, cash management, financial reporting\nReporting and presentations\nPrepare monthly GAAP financial statements, including consolidated financial statements for G3 Quality and Ad Hoc Partners.\nPresent monthly financial results, trends, variances, and key issues to the executive team.\nPrepare, analyze, reconcile, and distribute monthly executive KPI reporting in alignment with the general ledger.\nDispatch revenue, OT, Write-offs\nSubconsultant margin analysis\nManager meeting presentations\nMiscellaneous reports as requested\nAccurately prepare, review, reconcile, and distribute the monthly executive KPI report in alignment with the general ledger.\nOversee month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, P&L analysis, financial statement adjustments, Ajera financial reporting, chart of accounts maintenance, and overall financial data integrity.\nClose the books\nBalance sheet reconciliations\nP&L and financial analysis\nMonthly review, analysis, variance reporting, and adjusting entries for income statements and balance sheets to assure GAAP compliance\nAjera financial report management\nChart of account maintenance\nFinancial data integrity in Ajera\nDaily reconciliation of the general ledger, bank activity, and cash log\nMaintain understanding of FAR requirements and applicable systems of control to support compliant accounting practices.\nCreate and maintain new general ledger loan accounts and related amortization schedules as needed\nMaintain the fixed asset ledger and record adjustments as assets are purchased, sold, or otherwise disposed.\nOversee cash management, including borrowing availability, disbursements, lender reporting, and related reconciliations.\nMonitor DSO, ineligible balances, and borrowing availability requirements.\nAvailability requirements\nCompile and submit the bi-monthly borrowing base certificate to the lender, reconcile variances, and provide timely correspondence and reporting resolutions\nDisbursements\nImport credit card activity into the general ledger, process weekly employee expense reports, verify required approvals and payments, and process specified ACH payments for rent, business insurance, and similar recurring obligations.\nBudgeting and forecasting\nCreate annual consolidated budget including balance sheets, income statements, and statement of cash flow\nMaintain rolling forecast\nLine of credit and availability\nCovenant calculations\nProject profitability\nGenerate and maintain reports\nAnalysis of systems experience, with the ability to leverage technology, automation, and AI tools to improve accounting, reporting, analysis, and process documentation.\n• Supervise, coach, and develop accounting team members to ensure timely completion of weekly and monthly accounting responsibilities, consistent process execution, and effective backup coverage.\n• Bachelor’s degree in accounting\n• 5+ years
