The Data Analyst role is part of a business intelligence and data warehouse team tasked with providing data analysis, data design, systems development, training and customer support.\nResponsibilities:\nSystems development activities include data table/structure design, data acquisition, system specifications, data validation and documentation.\nData Analyst support will also include development of data interface specifications, on-line query and report specifications, database load specifications, and data validation specifications.\nCustomer support, including interfacing with customers, trouble shooting, product review and analysis and problem resolution.\nQualifications:\nFive 5+ or more years of expereince\nHigh School Diploma or Bachelors Degree prefered\nThe ability to apply analytical skills relating to database management and development Knowledge of relational database management systems and data warehousing\nExperience using Cognos Tool Suite to create reports and dashboards\nSkill in writing and analyzing structured query language (SQL) queries\nExperience and knowledge in mathematical reasoning\nAbility to communicate effectively orally and in writing for required customer support and requirements gathering and validation\nKnowledge of analytical tools and evaluation techniques\nKnowledge of government accounting (highly desired: DOD Accounting)\nPhysical Demands:\nMust be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds\nMust be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time\nMust be able to twist, bend and squat periodically\nSECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level.
