Optomi, in partnership with a leading downtown Chicago organization is looking for a Part-Time Desk Side Support Tech to support AV conference room equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, reset passwords, and provide walk-up support in a high-visibility downtown Chicago environment.*Tuesday –Thursday | 24 hrs/week | 6–12 Month ContractResponsibilities of the right candidate:Providing desk side and walk-up support for end users in a high-visibility downtown Chicago officeTroubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and AV conference room issues on the spotSetting up and maintaining monitors, speakers, and AV equipment using analyzer toolsResetting passwords and resolving OneDrive and general end user computing errorsSupporting special events with technical setup and on-site executionApply today if your background includes:A+ certification required; skillset above a traditional service desk roleHands-on experience with AV conference room equipment and tech bar supportStrong walk-up support experience with the ability to prioritize and respond in real timeComfortable working in an executive environment — polished, professional, and able to communicate without jargonExperience with OneDrive troubleshooting, monitor adjustments, and special event tech supportSelf-sufficient and adaptable in a part-time, onsite contractor capacity
