In 2021, Igloo was acquired by Dometic Brands and now there is the opportunity to Globally grow both brands together.\nWe are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Injection Molding Process Technician.\nThis role will support blow mold or injection manufacturing department(s), attending daily critical machines, support mold set-up team, material, and resin team.\nEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities:\nProvides support to production to improve process and metrics.\nAttends Critical machine daily and auxiliary equipment.\nPerforms foam fixture startup, troubleshoots, and maintains during production.\nTroubleshoots problems with blow mold/injection machines and peripheral equipment and takes corrective actions\nFollows Lockdown Process Sheets, Procedures, Visual aids, and Instructions.\nWorks closely with Production Supervisors and Operations personnel to achieve and maintain departmental goals.\nMaintains and improves safety and quality (safety devices, guarding equipment, spare parts list, set-up instructions, and troubleshooting protocol.\nPrepare reports and data collection as directed by immediate supervisor.\nOperates forklifts and cranes to replace molds.\nStarts/shuts down machines, Responsible for machine adjustments.\nWorks with Senior technicians to conducts minor repairs and changes inserts.\nStarts/shuts down machines, Responsible for machine adjustments.\nEnsures safe working practices are followed and all accidents, hazards, near misses, and property damage are reported in a timely manner.\nEnsure work area(s) are maintained in a clean and organized manner.\nOther duties as assigned.\nWhat do we offer?\nYou are offered an interesting role in a dynamic, fast paced and global environment with great opportunities to grow and take on new challenges. High noise requiring use of hearing protection.\nStanding & Walking\nRoles may involve extended periods (up to 12 hours) of standing and walking, including moving at a brisk pace and occasional stair climbing.\nPostural Requirements\nFrequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and working in low or awkward positions during production or maintenance tasks.\nLifting & Material Handling\nOperator-level roles may involve lifting up to 25 lb repeatedly throughout the shift.\nTechnician-level roles may involve lifting up to 50 lb multiple times per day, including overhead lifts.\nWhere possible, mechanical aids (e.g., hoists, forklifts) are used.\nFine Motor Skills & Tool Use\nUse of both hands is required to operate tools, perform adjustments, and handle assembly materials with precision.\nVisual Requirements\nSufficient visual acuity (e.g., 20/40 with or without correction) is necessary for tasks involving inspection and safe equipment operation.\nEnvironmental Conditions\nWork is performed in a production setting where seasonal temperatures may range from 100–120°F (with humidity) in summer to cooler conditions in winter.\nHigh noise levels are common; hearing protection is provided and required.\nPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as ear protection, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, gloves, and protective clothing may be required depending on the task.\nAdditional Job Considerations\nThese roles can be physically demanding, involving repetitive motions and long hours.
