The employee would be responsible for gauging, measuring, and visually inspecting product, including all associated paperwork, making sure that it complies with our print specifications.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nUnderstanding and inspecting a wide variety of interrelated dimensions and surface finishes.\nResponsible for inspection of in-process and processed parts. Performs special inspection set-ups either on machines or at benches. Use and understand all applicable instruments and gages such as height gauge, thread gauges, micrometers, calipers, ring gauges, depth gauges, and comparator.\nRequired to read and understand complex blueprints, procedures, travelers, and comp cards.\nUtilize Excel files and Team Improvement Boards to collect and display FTY information.\nWork closely with Group Leaders and Team Leaders on problem solving activities.\nUtilize main frame system for scan/verify operations.\nWork with Planner and Team Leader on daily shipments.\nWork closely with both the teams Quality and Manufacturing Engineers when quality issues arise, ability to understand internal MDR/MRB and external case record requirements.\nMeet all requirements of VCT Inspection (S19)-Knowledge of proper use of stamps, router systems, move/stock systems, “hold” and “Variations” systems, and material release systems.\nMeet all requirements of Specific Hand Deburr (A07)-Demonstrate use of hand tools to a specific operation. Explain paperwork responsibility. Interpret process and allowable practices. Demonstrate ability to work under microscope.
