This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that all required materials are available and correctly kitted to meet production schedules. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position is onsite.\nPosition Location:\nAddison, IL\nKey Responsibilities:\n1. Raw Material handling:\nUnload Sheet metal and copper from truck and trailers.\nPut away goods in a safe and proper manner within racking\nVerify receipt of goods matches documentation.\nLabel and document movement of materials.\nKitting and delivery of raw material to appropriate work centers.\nRemoval of scrap material from production area.\n2. Inventory Management:\nMonitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor.\nAssist in maintaining accurate inventory records through routine counts and data entry.\nWork with procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock.\nEnsure that all materials are stored properly to prevent damage or loss.\n3. Equipment Use and Maintenance:\nUse appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools as needed.\n4. Documentation and Compliance:\nComplete all required documentation accurately, including work orders, test records, and inventory tracking.\nAdhere to workplace safety standards, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).\nMaintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficient assembly processes.\nAdhere to any other safety or site policies.\n5.
