Textile Designer

Responsibilities:Create graphics for womens RTW brands and activewearAssist with creating textile designsConstruct existing artwork into repeat pattern, color separations, and clean files for productionPrepare artwork files, layout and sizing, pantone color call outsOrganize and maintain print header library and pantone booksAssist with communication to/from China teamMaintain printer and software updatesCreate a system to avoid potential print duplication among our brandsSkills/Qualifications:Degree in graphic design, illustration or visual artsExperience with womens RTW brandsProficient with Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop a mustExperience with Nedgraphics a huge plusWorks well as a team player, great attitudeVery organized and has ability to analyze workload for a variety of brands/designers and plan accordinglyExceptional follow up skills
