This involves contributing to the design, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and support of complex multi-tenant, high-concurrency, commercial web solutions. The qualified candidate is expected to perform at a senior developer level and stay well-versed in the latest web development technologies.\nThe ideal candidate has worked in an agile Scrum environment, is familiar with writing SaaS applications on a PaaS platform in Microsoft Azure and has business domain experience in e-commerce and related back-office functions.\n\nAnalyze and provide solutions for complex software development tasks, providing design documentation as required.\nWork with the product owner and technical lead to understand business requirements.\nExhibit an active interest in how the business works to understand not just what work needs to be done, but why.\nActively collaborate with other developers, QA, and the product owner in an agile Scrum environment to efficiently deliver high-quality solutions.\nProvide accurate and timely estimates for sprint work items.\nParticipate in code reviews to ensure the quality of work delivered by the team meets or exceeds stakeholder expectations.\nProvide support in production support issue resolution, including root-cause analysis and corrective action plans.\nExhibit effective organizational skills, a focus on accuracy, and attention to detail.\nPossess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities as well as creativity in coming up with outside-the-box solutions.\nConform to architectural and coding standards/conventions, including concepts such as defensive programming.\n\nEducation/ Experience :\nFour-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience\nMinimum 8 years of demonstrable professional experience on the Microsoft .Net web stack\nFull software-stack experience is mandatory, including senior-level developer knowledge of MVC, Typescript, C#, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, HTML5, CSS3, and T-SQL\nAdvanced, hands-on experience with Angular is required, including a complete understanding of the DOM, selectors, traversals, sophisticated AJAX implementations, event binding, commonly used plug-ins, and testing using tools like Firebug and Postman.\nStrong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, web functions and standards.\nExperience with common design and code patterns (e.g., dependency injection, singleton, factories, etc.)\nExperience working on high-concurrency public web applications\nExperience implementing industry best practices as they relate to code construction and web application security\nFamiliarity with the Bootstrap framework\nExperience with agile development environments and Scrum methodology a plus\nBusiness domain experience in e-commerce and/or back-office applications a plus\nExperience writing unit tests in an MVC environment a plus\nExperience working in an Azure environment a plus\nHands-on experience with highly secured enterprise-level applications a plus\nExperience writing multi-threaded applications in .net is a plus.\nExperience optimizing a slow running application for better performance and speed\nSkills and Ability :\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills required\nSkilled at understanding business and technical requirements, and converting them into working code\nOOP, OOA, OOD, and code modelling techniques\nWork Conditions/ Physical Demands :\nThis position is primarily performed in a home office or other approved remote work environment. The employee is expected to maintain a safe, secure, and distraction-free workspace with reliable internet access. Duties primarily involve prolonged periods of sitting, working on a computer, and communicating via phone and video conferencing.\nThe employee must be able to frequently use a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment, as well as communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and business partners. Occasional lifting of office materials or equipment up to 15 pounds may be required.\nTravel :\nOccasional travel may be required for meetings, training, or business needs (up to 10%).\n\nPay & Benefits :\nCompensation is determined by various factors such as location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal and external equity and organizational needs. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.\nThe salary range for this position is $106,000 to $119,250 annually. The posted range reflects our national average range for the job. We may ultimately pay more or less than the published range based on the factors mentioned above.
