Reporting directly to senior leadership, this role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, supporting operational decision-making, and providing financial analysis that helps improve profitability.\r\nPosition Responsibilities\r\nManages all accounting functions, including general ledger, fixed assets, and month end close; as well as provide general oversite on the management of payables, receivables and payroll.\r\nPrepare timely and accurate monthly financial statements and management reports.\r\nAnalyze monthly P&L results and provide insight into business performance.\r\nMonitor and report on gross margins, manufacturing costs, and product profitability.\r\nMaintain and improve standard costing, inventory valuation, and cost accounting processes.\r\nAnalyze manufacturing variances, inventory trends, labor efficiencies, and overhead costs.\r\nPartner with operations to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.\r\nProvide guidance and oversight into pricing decisions through cost and margin analysis.\r\nWork closely with purchasing to monitor raw material costs, inventory levels, supplier performance, and purchasing trends.\r\nAssist with annual budgeting and periodic forecasting.\r\nMaintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.\r\nCoordinate annual financial audits and support tax preparation with external accounting partners.\r\nServe as the primary accounting resource for the company's ERP system, helping improve reporting, system accuracy, and process efficiency.
