For more than 30 years, we’ve developed and launched compelling, inventive communications campaigns that support clients in many sectors: education, the military, health care, government, nonprofits, and more.What It Means To Be a Reingold Instructional Design InternAs an instructional design (ID) intern, you will meaningfully contribute to your projects as a valued member of your team — while receiving the support of our structured internship program. Reingold’s program provides regular check-ins, professional development and learning opportunities, and fun team bonding events.ID interns will learn the ins and outs of the training team while collaborating with and learning from other teams across Reingold. You’ll gain hands-on development experience, hone your ADDIE and project management skills, and gain exposure to a range of industries. Interns work directly with experienced, passionate consultants and creative specialists. We’re all about initiative, and we encourage interns to tailor their experience to their interests and strengths!Internships are full-time (40 hours) during the standard workweek and pay an hourly rate of $20. The Spring 2025 internship class begins on Thursday, January 23, and ends on Friday, May 9. Core hours during the internship are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern time. This internship requires five in-office days (Monday – Friday) at our office in Alexandria.A Reingold intern must have the following qualifications and skills:Demonstrable experience in designing learning experiencesKnowledge of learning science and instructional design standardsAbility to communicate clearly and confidently, in both speaking and writingStrong collaboration skillsEagerness to learn by doingCuriosity and creativityProfessional approachYour day-to-day duties may include but are not limited to:Gaining exposure to a variety of workstreamsBuilding foundational instructional design skillsDisplaying soft skills for communicating professionallyPerforming hands-on, entry-level instructional design tasks that may include researching, drafting course materials, and conducting quality control activitiesOur internships are great for recent college graduates, graduate school students, and anyone serious about pursuing a career in communications.
