The FAE will be required to work with customers from ground to executive-level, manage projects hand in hand with internal and external teams, and help grow the business whenever possible. Customer and solution focus, are two key factors for this position, as well as business continuity and support. The FAE must work with multiple departments to ensure new projects and existing projects are initiated or maintained towards customer requirements.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nIncludes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):\n\nRecruits, leads and mentors team of FAE's in support of revenue growth at all assigned accounts\nSolution architect and presentation skills to help expand Fortune1000 account penetration and loyalty\nWorks closely with the sales and extended teams to map end-user customer business, partner requirements and provide most optimized technical solutions\nProvides technical leadership in Pre-Sales and oversee implementation of such solutions\nEffectively engage with C-level technical customers, gain and maintain trust\nHighly technical problem solver who understands system architecture, hardware and software interaction\nShould possess basic HW debug skills\nManage and leads product HW and SW engineers during product development\nManage and leads teams during investigation and resolution of problems in the field\nHas a good understanding of firmware, drivers, OS, Applications and their interaction that can cause system issues\nDevelop and review systems solutions, technical bid responses and presentations\nWork cross-department to ensure customer satisfaction and timely resolution of issues\nAbility to build and demonstrate proof-of-concept that meets or exceeds customer business needs\nAbility to present the corporate brand, product messaging and solutions to customers\nVisit on-site facilities and operations to enable solution integration and issue resolution\nSome travel required (up to 25%)\nQualifications:\nBachelors' or Masters' degree in engineering discipline; computer science, computer engineering and electrical engineering preferred\nExcellent communication skills and business sense required\nMinimum 8 year related experience with Compute/Storage Server or Data Center or IT Infrastructure experience desired\nStrong background and experience with x86-based server architecture\nSolid HW system expertise and diagnostics skills\nFamiliarity with Firmware, Linux, Windows and virtualization platforms is a plus\nStrong technical communication and leadership skills to lead investigations with engineers of multiple disciplines\nIndividual must be able to work effectively in a high pressure environment\nSalary Range\n\nEEO Statement\nSupermicro is an Equal Opportunity Employer and embraces diversity in our employee population.
