This is a non-exempt position that reports directly to the General Manager and indirectly to others in management.\nEssential Job Functions\nOutgoing personality\nPassion for the brand\nPositive Attitude\nConsistent attendance and punctuality\nCompliance with employee handbook and training manuals\nStrong Knowledge of craft beer and whiskey\nFast foot speed and ability to work successfully in a fast paced environment\nGreet all guests within Eureka's time specifications and with a genuinely friendly disposition (i.e., a warm smile)\nAttend to the needs of all guests in a professional and courteous manner\nMemorize Eureka's abbreviations and ticket writing procedures, and write food and drink orders according to guest's request\nEfficiently operate the point-of-sale (POS) system\nMaintain a thorough knowledge of all menu and bar items in order to respond accurately to guests' inquiries\nPrepare and serve beverages according to time and quality standards\nKnow all table and bar seat numbers and deliver food orders\nExecute proper food and drink placement at all tables\nBus and manicure tables throughout the restaurant\nPolish and roll silverware\nTransport plates, bowls and glasses from Dish station to the cooks line\nReplenish condiments, as needed, such as straws, napkins, ice\nMaintain the expeditor and wait stations\nAssist in seating guests and answering the telephone, as needed\nPerform appropriate opening and closing duties, such as cleaning and food prep\nHandle cash and credit card transactions according to Eureka's procedures\nObserve state and federal laws regarding the service of alcohol\nQualifications\nAt least 18 years of age\nTAM/ Alcohol Awareness Card\nFood Handler Safety Training Card\nEquipment Used\nPoint-of-Sale system\nAssorted knives, scissors\nCoffee/Tea/Espresso Machines, if applicable\nAssorted china and flatware\nNoWait App\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment\nPosition requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing, and repetitive hand and wrist motion; working with and around hot, cold, and hazardous equipment in a fast paced and congested environment that will occasionally be loud, hot and/or physically demanding.\nAt-Will Statement & Job Description Disclaimer\nThis position is at-will.
