We cultivate a people-centric culture focused on mastery, ownership, and transparency.\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nYipitData is looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our Finance team.\n\nThis is a unique opportunity to work at a high-growth FinTech company with entrepreneurial yet supportive colleagues. In this role, you will utilize your exceptional accounting knowledge and high attention to detail to manage accounts receivables, own customer communications, and assist the accounting team within a fast-paced dynamic environment.\n\nAs our Staff Accountant, you will:\n\nManage the full accounts receivable cycle, including: invoice review, collections, cash application, and account reconciliations.\nResolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries in a timely manner; Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.\nMonitor A/R aging, follow up on outstanding balances, and partner with our Treasury Manager on collections.\nReview APAC entities' payroll reports and transactions booking in NetSuite.\nAssist in month-end closing procedures and other accounting tasks as assigned; Prepare and post journal entries as needed; Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules; Analyze financial results and explain variances (Flux review).\nSupport our annual financial audit and other ad hoc projects.\n\nYou Are Likely To Succeed If:\n\n2+ years of accounting experience in a fast-paced environment\nStrong experience with:\nAccounts Receivable (AR)\nBookkeeping\nGeneral Ledger (GL) accounting\nMonth-end close processes\nBachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping\nExperience with NetSuite accounting software and Salesforce CRM strongly preferred\nIntermediate Excel skills\nKnowledge of GAAP required\n\nWhat We Offer:\n\nOur compensation package includes competitive salary and comprehensive benefit offerings.\nOpportunities to build a career as a manager or individual contributor through our career ladder that promotes based on impact. Please note that our US headquarters are located in NYC. We also have office hubs in Austin, Miami, Denver, Mountain View, and Seattle.
