This includes developing infrastructure-as-code modules, automating deployment workflows, and supporting cloud-based and on-premise systems.Throughout the internship, you will gain hands-on experience with modern infrastructure practices and tools, while working closely with experienced engineers on meaningful, real-world projects. Interns will have the opportunity to contribute to major initiatives, such as supporting the migration from traditional domain controllers to Azure Active Directory services.In addition to technical development, there will be countless professional and personal development opportunities which have included: giving and receiving feedback, working closely with experienced IT professionals, collaboration across teams, exposure to enterprise-grade infrastructure supporting a global investment organization, and leadership lessons with our CEO/CIO and CTO.Our Internship Program runs May 26, 2026 thru July 24, 2026.Broad Responsibilities Include:Assist in developing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code (IaC) modules for scalable environmentsSupport automation efforts for provisioning resources such as virtual machines, networking components, and cloud servicesContribute to infrastructure projects, including identity and access modernization initiativesAssist in documenting infrastructure configurations, standards, and processesCollaborate with Infrastructure, Information Security, Data Innovation and Governance, and Application Services teams on cross-functional initiativesParticipate in system design discussions and team meetingsMonitor and troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues in development and production environmentsGain exposure to cloud platforms, scripting, and automation toolsCompletion of various ad hoc and scheduled projectsRequirements:Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related fieldExpected to graduate in the near future (senior standing preferred)Strong interest in infrastructure engineering, cloud computing, and automationBasic familiarity with concepts such as operating systems, networking, or scripting (preferred)Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailEffective verbal and written communication skillsA collaborative team player with a positive, “can do” attitudeDemonstrated integrity, accountability, and curiosityCultural fit is essential in a respectful, collegial, and open working environmentClick here to learn more about UTIMCO’s mission and impactEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
