We partner with third parties and other teams across the business to ideate, develop, launch, and grow digital services in conjunction with LG's products. The right person for this role thrives in a dynamic environment, loves problem-solving, and is a good communicator, transforming ideas into integrated solutions.\nAs the Angular Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for front end (70%) and backend (30%) development. You will be a part of the software development lifecycle that translates business requirements into functioning software systems, services, and solutions aligned to the ThinQ's US services portfolio. This role will require a strong knowledge in back-end data pipeline, API and service development frameworks, front end web development frameworks and data architecture and systems implementation. This role is crafting and implementing technical solutions to complex business needs and requires the ability to work across multiple systems that form the solution.\nDevelop user interfaces using the AngularJS framework.\nWork closely with other web developers and backend engineers.\nCreate high-performing, responsive, and interactive web applications.\nUnit-test the code and debug the application.\nCreate custom directives and components.\nCollaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.\nEnsuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.\nWorking alongside graphic designers for web design features where required.\nSeeing through a solution from conception to finished product, iterating, and evolving based on stakeholder feedback.\nDesigning and developing APIs as well as consuming pre-built, available ones.\nParticipate on scrum teams working in short sprints and ensure on time delivery with high quality.\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or an Engineering discipline.\n10 or more years of design and developing production grade software components and solutions.\nStrong, demonstrable hands-on experience with web application development.\nExperience building self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.\nEnsuring a clear dependency chain, in terms of both application logic as well as file relationships.\nEnsuring high performance on mobile and desktop.\nWriting non-blocking code, and resorting to advanced techniques such as multi-threading, when needed.\nCooperating with the back-end developer in the process of building the RESTful API.\nCommunicating with external web services.\nProfile optimization (memory, speed).\nKnowledge of NodeJS and ReactJS.\nExperience with back-end technologies (Node.js, Express) is a plus.\nStrong proficiency in HTML, CSS3, and JavaScript.\nFamiliarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript is also a major advantage.\nDetail oriented individual with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nAbility to be self-directed, a good team player and the capacity for effective time management.\nAbility to clearly communicate to both technical and business teams.\nAbility to learn and adapt quickly to new business domains and technologies.\nExperience with unit testing tools like Karma or Jasmine.\nExcellent debugging skills.\nPrivacy Notice to California Applicants\nAt LG, we aspire to empower people and celebrate differences because we believe diversity will create the unexpected.
