The primary application subject area being financial and project support. This role focuses on building and modernizing applications where Oracle PL/SQL is embedded in the database in support of User Interface, integration points to several other MaineDOT applications and other Federal and Statewide applications. Development tasks often include generating web-based screens directly from PL/SQL.\r\nThe successful candidate will join a collaborative and service-oriented technical environment and play a key part in supporting enterprise applications used across in support of MaineDOT and may span into working with other State agencies and key areas within MaineIT in areas such as database, network, server, and firewall.\r\nKey Responsibilities Architect, develop, and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and database objects supporting MaineDOT systems.\r\nCreate and maintain dynamic web UI screens from PL/SQL, using SQL Developer.\r\nModernize legacy PL/SQL-driven interfaces and transition or integrate with newer statewide standards.\r\nCollaborate with analysts, business owners, and technical teams primarily across MaineDOT departments however may interact with other business staff in other State agencies.
