As an AVP, Data Analyst, you will be responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing actionable insights to drive informed decision-making across Everest. You will work closely with IT & business stakeholders to understand their data needs, review existing data assets, and present findings in a clear and concise manner. You will also be a strong collaborator who thrives at the intersection of business/data and technical delivery.\nKey Responsibilities:\nReview & document current data assets across source systems\nDocument the current process and limitations of the current process\nPerform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies\nGenerate the artifacts to showcase mapping and global transformation rules that needs to be applied to the data\nWork closely with data architects and business analysts to understand the global data reporting requirements and standards\nValidate data accuracy, completeness and integrity of the data in the source systems\nIdentify and document data quality issues and discrepancies\nProvide decision-support through ad-hoc analysis, data profiling etc.\nProvide product ownership and technical support to developers\nSupport multiple project(s) from a SDLC perspective\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field\n10-15 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role in the P&C insurance industry\nSolid knowledge of the P&C insurance domain particularly policy & claims management systems\nProven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related roles.\nProficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, etc.).\nExperience working in Cloud native technologies\nStrong experience in Data Modeling, Data Governance & MDM\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.\nExcellent communication and presentation abilities.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong communication and storytelling skills to present insights to senior stakeholders\nA collaborative mindset and the ability to build alignment across teams\nExperience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).\nNice to Have:\nExposure to modern data platforms and cloud-based analytics environments\nExperience supporting data governance initiatives\nExperience managing and working closely with development team(s)\nExperience performing Product owner roles is a plus\nThe base salary range for this position is $175,000 - $210,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
