This role requires a highly skilled DBA with strong hands-on experience managing Db2 environments, containerized database platforms, migrations, and performance tuning.\r\nLocation\r\nAtlanta, GA / Charlotte, NC / Raleigh, NC (No Remote)\r\nDuration\r\nOngoing Contract\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nDesign, build, migrate, tune, and support Db2 databases in enterprise environments.\r\nAdminister Db2/Db2U environments running on OpenShift, including storage, development support, and monitoring.\r\nSupport migration efforts from cDB2 to Db2 on OpenShift.\r\nPerform database performance tuning, troubleshooting, and stability improvements.\r\nManage database jobs and maintenance activities using CRON, ESP, or similar scheduling tools.\r\nCollaborate with application and platform teams to support containerized database solutions.\r\nAssist with Q Replication (QREP) configuration and support when needed.\r\nRequired Skills\r\n7+ years of Db2 Database Administration experience (Db2 z/OS and/or LUW).\r\nHands-on experience supporting Db2/Db2U on OpenShift or Kubernetes.\r\nStrong SQL skills and proven database performance tuning experience.\r\nExperience with database migration and modernization initiatives.\r\nExperience with CRON, ESP, or enterprise scheduling tools.\r\nStrong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.\r\nIBM Q Replication (QREP) experience is a plus.\r\nExperience Requirements\r\nCandidates must have 6–8+ years of practical, hands-on Db2 DBA experience.\r\nStrong technical depth is required; candidates will participate in a one-hour interview featuring scenario-based questions focused on real-world troubleshooting and implementation experience.\r\nEducation\r\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.\r\nExcellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.\r\nEqual Opportunity Employer\r\nCTG will consider for employment all qualified applicants including those with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
