About the OpportunityWe're partnering with a leading automation and material handling organization looking to hire a Senior Project Manager to oversee complex automation system implementations across multiple customer sites.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys managing large-scale, fast-moving technical projects from design through installation and commissioning. The role offers exposure to cutting-edge automation systems, international project work, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and customer teams.What You'll Be DoingManage multiple concurrent automation and material handling projects from planning through deliveryOversee project schedules, budgets, forecasting, risk management, and customer communicationCoordinate closely with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and vendors to ensure successful project executionEnsure systems are delivered to contractual specifications relating to functionality, productivity, reliability, quality, and safetySupport vendor selection, bid evaluation, procurement activity, and project documentationMonitor project milestones and proactively identify and mitigate risks or cost overrunsAct as a key point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycleWhat We're Looking For4–6+ years of project management experience within automation, material handling, intralogistics, or related engineering environmentsStrong understanding of mechanical systems, PLC controls, and software engineeringExperience managing technical project teams and customer-facing project deliveryStrong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skillsExperience with Microsoft Project and other project management toolsEngineering degree or equivalent technical systems experience preferredFormal PM certification (PMI, PRINCE2, etc.) is advantageousAdditional DetailsApproximately 50% domestic and international travel required.This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing automation business delivering highly technical projects within fast-paced industrial and warehouse environments.
