Job Title: Press Operator / DeburrerDepartment: ProductionReports To: Operations LeaderPay Rate: Starting at $20/hour (flexible based on experience)Position Type: Temporary-to-Permanent (not direct hire)Position OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Press Operator / Deburrer to join our production team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This role primarily focuses on deburring thin gauge metal parts using a variety of tools and equipment. While the work can be repetitive, success in this role comes from maintaining focus, consistency, and a strong commitment to quality.Key ResponsibilitiesDeburr thin gauge metal parts using:Small belt sandersDeburr wheels with finishing ballsVibratory machinesHand-held deburring toolsMaintain accuracy and efficiency while meeting production goalsRead and follow work orders/travelers to track job progressPerform quality checks to ensure parts meet specificationsAdditional duties may include:Ink stamping and bagging partsOperating hydraulic or mechanical pressesUsing spot welders, fly presses, or power pressesLearning new production tasks as neededWhat We're Looking ForIn addition to technical ability, we are specifically seeking candidates who:Take direction well and maintain a positive attitudePay close attention to detailAre punctual, dependable, and consistentTake pride in their work and output qualityAre flexible and comfortable sitting or standing for extended periodsCan handle repetitive tasks and high production volumesThis role requires someone who can stay focused throughout repetitive processes while consistently producing high-quality parts.QualificationsPrior manufacturing experience preferred; aerospace experience is a plus (not required)Ability to work 40 hours per week, with flexibility for overtimeStrong hand-eye coordinationAbility to work independently and under pressureWillingness to learn and be trained on new equipment and processesReliable transportation and strong attendance recordAbility to read and write in EnglishMust be a U.S. CitizenSchedule(subject to change based on workload)Monday to Thursday: 6:00 AM to 3:30 PMFriday: 6:00 AM to 10:00 AMCompensation & BenefitsStarting pay: $20/hour (with flexibility for more experienced candidates)Opportunity for a $1/hour increase upon successful transition to company payrollHealth insurance, short-term disability, and life insurance available after 2 months401(k) available after 1 year of servicePay Details: $20.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
