If you are someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment supporting new developments, active deployments, and customer operated hardware, we are looking for you.\n\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\n\nDefine and document electrical system-level requirements, decomposition, and traceability for multiple product lines throughout the development lifecycle.\nDefine, architect, test and integrate modules and subsystems into full vehicle systems including hardware selection\nConduct root cause analysis in support of vehicle integration and field operations\nConduct integration and developmental testing of complex electrical subsystems/interactions.\nParticipate in design reviews and provide input to identify issues and drive design choices\nCreate test systems to support all phases of product development\nCollaborate with cross-functional hardware and software teams to establish interfaces.\nCreate and maintain system design documentation, including functional block diagrams, sequence diagrams, state diagrams, interface control documents, and wiring diagrams.\nDevelop communication architectures for CAN, ethernet, and serial based electrical devices\nPlan and document power and signal interconnections between system components through definition of block diagrams and harness schematic drawings that connect electrical equipment within the vehicle\n\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\n\nBachelor's Degree in Engineering: Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Aerospace, or similar field\n5+ years of experience with design and testing of integrated hardware & software systems\nExperience with planning, writing, and executing test procedures\nFamiliarity with common electromechanical components such as electric motors, solenoids, thermocouples, RTDs, and their specific interfacing needs.\nExperience in design for signal integrity / power integrity\nFamiliarity with common electrical bus interfaces (CAN, Ethernet, RS422, RS232, MIL-STD-1553)\nExperience leading multidisciplinary trade studies to conclusion\nFamiliarity with electrical test equipment (multimeter, power supply, oscilloscope, CANalyzer, and other analog and digital dataloggers)\nAbility to read wiring schematics and interact with CAD software\nMust possess excellent communication skills\nEligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\n\nUnderstanding of DO-160 and/or MIL-STD 461/704 and relevant avionics design standards for UAS\nFamiliarity with aircraft avionics and harnessing component suppliers from past experience in UAS programs.\n\nThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
