{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"06d4acf07e87d7b3da7bea88","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/06d4acf07e87d7b3da7bea88","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/06d4acf07e87d7b3da7bea88","title":"Project Engineer","description":"Description\n\nCPH is a multi-disciplined Engineering and Architectural design firm that ranks in the nation’s Top 500 Design Firms by ENR Magazine.\n\nCPH has an opening in our Sanford, Florida office location for the following position:\nProject Engineer (EIT/EI) – Utilities\n\nHiring Bonus of up to $1,000 for selected candidate!\n\nCPH is seeking a Project Engineer (EIT/EI) with an interest in the design of Utilities/or Land Development projects.\n\nDuties Include\n\nWorking under the responsible charge of a Professional Engineer as a member of a team in the design and preparation of technical reports, analysis/calculations and construction documents.\nPreparation of accurate presentation, design, details and construction documents.\nPreparation of permit applications and submittal packages to Agencies having jurisdiction.\nCoordination with clients, subconsultants, permitting agencies, utility providers, contractors and other parties associated with the project.\nPeriodic travel to perform site investigations, and construction observation.\nPreparation of specifications, shop drawing review, field observations, preparation of inspection reports and other construction administration tasks.\nCollaboration with other firm engineers, architects, disciplines, project managers, and business development teams.\nResearch, interpretation and implementation of relevant codes and client requirements.\nImplementation and utilization of CPH and client standards and templates.\nReview of documents prepared by others and implementation of project quality control.\nDevelopment and adherence to project scope, schedules, and budgets.\nManagement of clients and national account programs.\n\nRequirements\n\nB.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.\nEI/EIT Certification or commitment to obtain within 1 year of hire.\nProficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
