Operations Manager – Fixed Income | Leading Asset Manager | New York We’re partnering with a leading asset management firm with a strong presence across global fixed income markets. As the business continues to grow, the team is looking to bring on an experienced Operations Manager to support and enhance their bond and rates-focused investment platform.Role Overview:This role will take ownership of the end-to-end operational oversight across fixed income products, with a particular focus on bonds, treasuries, and rates instruments. You’ll play a key role in managing trade lifecycle processes, overseeing corporate actions, and ensuring the integrity of post-trade operations in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Oversee trade capture, confirmation, and settlement across fixed income securities (government bonds, treasuries, corporates, and rates products)Manage cash and position reconciliations; investigate and resolve breaks across custodians and counterpartiesTake ownership of corporate actions processes, including income events, restructurings, and lifecycle managementLiaise with portfolio managers, traders, custodians, and administrators to ensure smooth operational flowMonitor and support collateral, funding, and margin processes related to fixed income positionsDrive process improvements and automation across operational workflowsQualifications:5–10+ years of experience in operations or middle office within an asset manager, hedge fund, or bankStrong experience supporting fixed income products, particularly bonds and treasuriesSolid understanding of corporate actions and post-trade lifecycle eventsFamiliarity with systems such as Geneva, Aladdin, Bloomberg, or similar platformsDetail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable operating in a high-volume environmentIf you’re interested in learning more, feel free to reach out directly.
