There is no opportunity for remote work.\n\nWe are seeking a professional Software Development Engineer in Test to join our U-Haul family and support our applications. As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for meeting commitments and delivering automation testing activities and schedules. You will be responsible for testing activities of new features developed, collaborating with the team to identify issues, track progress and ensure their successful resolution by developers. You must be self-driven, meticulous and think outside the box. You must be a team player and work with development and Quality Assurance within a scrumban or kanban set up.\n\nJob Description:\nRespond to Software Quality issues with related groups such as Development, Database, Integration and Customer Support.\nWork within an Agile team, collaborating with developers, QA, Support and Stakeholders to meet business requirements and system goals, fulfill end user requirements and identify and resolve systems issues effectively throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.\nPerform execution of GUI, functional, performance, integration, UAT, Blackbox, regression and roll-back testing scenarios in areas such as User Interface (UI), Web Service and database technologies.\nAssist development team with analysis from a quality analysis perspective and assist in identification of edge case scenarios or areas of potential performance impact.\nParticipate in pre-release and post-release sanity testing activities and processes, while additionally maintaining and enhancing documentation which will serve to increase the overall operational efficiency of the application.\nAssist in root cause analysis and mitigation strategies.\n\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics\n1-2+ years experience as Software Engineer test or similar role with full SDLC and STLC, software testing best practices and principles within Waterfall, SCRUM and Kanban methods\n1-2+ years experience coding in .Net, c#, Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cross Browser tools like Browserstack, Lambda Test\nExperience with WebDriver, REST Web services & SOAP (Postman, SOAP UI or similar) and SQL\nWorking experience with scrum teams, DevOps model code through CI/CD pipeline\nMust exhibit excellent analytical and problem identification skills\nMust be good with communication and be an independent thinker\nMust be available to work after hours for release support\n\nAbout the U-Haul IT Team:\nThe technology staff at U-Haul understands that exceptional software and systems designs are integral to not only serving our users but enabling us to be the leaders in software development within our industry.
