The EHS Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of safety and environmental performance while driving continuous improvement.This position will be located onsite in Pueblo, CO. Relocation assistance is available.What You Will Do:Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Provide leadership and guidance to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for all employees, contractors, and visitors.Conduct regular EHS audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.Monitor and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements applicable to the facility and operations.Lead incident investigations, facilitating root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action implementation.Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into business operations, projects, and decision-making processes.Develop and deliver EHS training programs to employees and management teams to promote awareness and ensure compliance.Track, analyze, and report EHS performance metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.Oversee hazardous materials management, waste disposal programs, and environmental sustainability initiatives.Act as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies, external auditors, and other stakeholders on EHS matters.Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of EHS excellence.Qualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations.Experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.Qualifications We Prefer:Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety, Engineering, or a related field.Experience in EHS management in manufacturing, aerospace, or defense environment.Experience developing and delivering EHS training programs.Experience in EHS-related software and tools.Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or equivalent.Experience with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or similar management systems.Familiarity with sustainability programs and initiatives.Experience working in aerospace, defense, or related industries.What We OfferBenefits:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceThree weeks of vacation for newly hired employeesGenerous 401(k) plan that includes employer matching funds and separate employer retirement contribution, including a Lifetime Income Strategy optionTuition reimbursement programStudent Loan Repayment ProgramLife insurance and disability coverageOptional coverages include pet insurance, home and auto insurance, additional life and accident insurance, critical illness insurance, group legal, ID theft protectionBirth, adoption, parental leave benefitsOvia Health, fertility, and family planningAdoption AssistanceAutism BenefitEmployee Assistance Plan, including up to 10 free counseling sessionsHealthy You Incentives, wellness rewards programDoctor on Demand, virtual doctor visitsBright Horizons, child and elder care servicesTeladoc Medical Experts, second opinion programRTX is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
