Remote Licensed Mental Health Therapist ( LCPC, LCSW-C, LMSW, LGPC)
Job Description
A Licensed Therapist provides professional mental health counseling services to individuals, families, couples, or groups. The therapist assesses emotional and behavioral concerns, develops treatment plans, and implements evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support clients in improving their mental health, coping skills, and overall well-being.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive mental health assessments and evaluations.Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on client needs.Provide individual, family, couples, or group therapy using evidence-based practices.Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.Monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.Provide crisis intervention and safety planning when necessary.Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, schools, and other professionals to coordinate care.Educate clients and families about mental health conditions and coping strategies.Maintain compliance with ethical guidelines, licensing requirements, and confidentiality regulations (HIPAA).Participate in case consultations, supervision, and continuing education to maintain licensure.Required QualificationsMaster's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related mental health field.Active state licensure (e.g., LPC, LCPC, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent).Experience providing psychotherapy in clinical, outpatient, school, or community settings.Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care.Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
