In this role, you will build next-generation boards and systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver functional test hardware solutions.\nThe ideal candidate will define and drive the structural test plan for baseboards and systems, review design concepts, and establish validation strategies. You will develop and automate test infrastructure configurations, ensuring coverage of key product features while optimizing cost, quality, and manufacturability. You will also lead the implementation of structural test plans to detect SMT, PCB, and component issues as early as possible. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across diverse product lines, from consumer graphics to autonomous vehicles and AI technologies.\nWhat you will be doing:\nDefine ICT capability, hardware design requirements, and board debug capabilities, enabling structural testing at Texas CM sites.\nOptimize structural test plans to identify SMT, PCB, and component issues early.\nCollaborate with board designers, layout engineers, tester vendors, and fixture providers, offering DFM guidance to meet ICT requirements.\nSupport production bring-up and debugging, including offshore tester platform bring-up involving ICT, BSI, FCT universal testers, and more.\nCoordinate test fixtures and platform automation with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and global teams.\nDevelop procedures, documentation, and provide technical support as needed.\nWhat you need to see:\nMaster’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, or related fields.\nAt least 5 years of experience in ICT programming, fixture design/manufacturing, and factory testing.\nStrong understanding of ICT development, hardware design, board debugging, and structural testing.\nSolid knowledge of board manufacturing processes, PCB/fixture design, and proven program management capability.\nExcellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nStrong team collaboration and analytical abilities with effective work habits.\nSelf-starter able to complete tasks with minimal supervision.\n\nWe offer competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package, and are widely recognized as one of the most desirable employers in the technology industry.
