Think canvas rendering, pan/zoom performance, and tables with hundreds of rows that still feel instant. You don't need prior experience with canvas or data-dense interfaces — you need strong React/TypeScript fundamentals, real product taste, and to be a fast learner ready to go deep on a problem most junior roles never touch. You don't need to check every box below — if the hard problem excites you, apply.\n\nWhat you'll do\n\nBuild and ship core product UI in React and TypeScript\n\nTurn rough product direction and designs into polished, production-ready interfaces\n\nWork on frontend performance — fast loads, smooth interactions, responsive rendering of large drawings and data-dense tables\n\nContribute to a reusable component library the team ships on\n\nWork directly with product and design to shape features, not just implement them\n\nPrototype quickly, gather feedback, and iterate toward the right UX\n\nDiagnose and fix frontend bugs, rendering issues, and state management problems\n\nWhat we're looking for\n\nStrong React and modern CSS skills — you can build complex layouts and interactions without reaching for a library every time\n\nReal design sense — you notice when spacing, hierarchy, or motion is off, and you fix it without being asked\n\nComfortable working from rough product direction — can fill the gap between a mock and a shippable feature\n\nFluent in TypeScript, component architecture, and frontend state management\n\nHigh ownership mindset — you don't wait to be told what to fix\n\nFast learner who can navigate unfamiliar systems and tools quickly\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience\n\nNice to have\n\nExperience with data-dense or canvas-heavy interfaces (tables, editors, drawing tools)\n\nPersonal projects or open-source work involving performance-sensitive UI\n\nExposure to construction, real estate, or other \"boring industry, real problem\" domains\n\nWhat we offer\n\n$130,000–$160,000 base salary, based on experience\n\n0.02%–0.04% equity (4-year vest)\n\nFull-time, in-person role in the SF Bay Area\n\nA genuinely hard, high-ownership problem from day one\n\nComp Philosophy\n\nWe are proud to offer competitive, top-of-market compensation because we want to celebrate the dedicated people who ship amazing work and drive our success.
