Senior Associate/AVP (accounting/finance) @ World Class Fund

Coda Search is partnering wtih a $100BN Asset Management firm with offices located in NYC. This is a world class fund that is seeking to hire a Senior Associate / Vice President to join the CAO Office. This is a highly visible, cross-functional role offering exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to work across financial reporting, technical accounting, SEC reporting, financial analysis, and strategic process improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze financial results and key performance metrics to support senior leadership decision-makingAssist in variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting initiativesDevelop insights into firm performance and profitability driverSupport the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAPResearch, interpret, and implement new accounting standards and guidanceIdentify and implement process improvements across reporting and accounting workflowsPartner with Finance, Technology, and Operations teams on cross-functional projectsSupport ad hoc strategic projects for the CAO and CFO officesHelp standardize best practices across accounting and reporting functionsQualifications4+ years of relevant experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and/or industry (asset management, financial services)Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirementsCPA designation (or actively pursuing) preferredAdvanced proficiency in ExcelStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
