Technician","description":"Company Description\n\nApplied Behavioral Analysis Services (ABAS) is responsible for providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) intervention services across Western MA for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in their homes, community, and/or school settings.\n\nJob Description\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nProvide one-on-one behavior intervention services to children diagnosed with ASD\nImplement programs developed by the BCBA\nTeach communication skills, social skills, self-help skills, and play skills using the principles of ABA under the direct supervision of a BCBA\nMaintain compliant records and data related to behavioral programming\nProvide support in crisis situations and consistently implement pre-determined Behavioral Intervention Plan (BIP)\nEnsure client safety\nMaintain client confidentiality and professional conduct at all times\nAcquire and maintain technical knowledge via remote and/or in vivo trainings\nReport any suspicion of child abuse or neglect to the Massachusetts Department of Children & Families (MA DCF)\n\nKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:\n\nAbility to abide by code of ethics as indicated by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board\nAbility to accept and implement constructive feedback in a professional manner\nWork independently after initial direction\nCommitment to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPPA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) laws\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, co-workers, supervisors, and community members\nPerform other job-related duties as assigned\nExperience with ABA highly preferred\nExperience working in home-based setting and with children with ASD preferred\n\nQualifications\n\nPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:\n\nMust have a valid driver’s license\nMust have access to a reliable insured vehicle and be willing to travel between job sites\nMust have access to a computer and Internet data plan that meet minimum specifications\nMust pursue RBT credential\n\nEDUCATION:\n\nRequired: High School Diploma or equivalent\nPreferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Speech and Language Pathology, or related field\nUp-to-date CPR (Cardiopulmonary
