The position involves working near computers, electronic equipment, low-voltage electrical components, cables, and power sources.\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nThis position requires the ability to move throughout office and work areas and to stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, and work in confined spaces while installing or servicing equipment. The employee must be able to lift, carry, position, and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, including computers, printers, and peripheral devices. Sufficient hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to handle equipment, use a keyboard, connect cables, and operate tools, as well as visual acuity to view computer screens, read technical information and equipment labels, inspect components and connections, and identify indicator lights is required.\n\nSKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:\n\nMinimum of one year of experience installing, configuring, upgrading, and troubleshooting PCs, peripheral devices, software applications, and related cabling.\n\nAbility to diagnose and perform component-level hardware repairs, supported by a working knowledge of basic electronic principles.\n\nWorking knowledge of and practical experience with Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 applications.\n\nFamiliarity with fundamental networking concepts and terminology.\n\nEffective communication and customer service skills, including the ability to assist users with varying levels of technical knowledge.\n\nAbility to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.\n\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\n\nOne year of relevant experience or related discipline or AS degree in computer related field or BS degree in computer science.\n\nIndustry relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+.
