We are an early-stage, engineering-driven startup based in San Francisco, working across lasers, robotics, software, and advanced manufacturing.About the RoleWe are looking for a highly capable Operations Generalist to help run and scale the day-to-day operations of the company. You will work closely with the founders and engineering team, taking ownership of the wide range of operational projects required to keep an early-stage hardware startup organized, safe, and moving quickly. This is a broad, hands-on role for someone who is resourceful, highly organized, and excited to solve unfamiliar problems. The scope will evolve as the company grows.ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day office, lab, and workshop operationsPurchase equipment, supplies, and servicesCoordinate vendors, deliveries, maintenance, and facility improvementsMaintain an organized, functional, and well-stocked workspaceSupport employee onboarding, benefits, and internal company processesCoordinate recruiting, interviews, candidate communication, and hiring logisticsPlan company events, team offsites, and other internal activitiesSupport facility safety programs, documentation, training, and complianceCoordinate insurance applications, renewals, audits, and broker relationshipsInterface with customers and pilot partners, including scheduling, communication, shipping, and follow-upSupport marketing, branding, events, website updates, and company communicationsBuild lightweight systems and processes that allow the company to operate more efficiently Required SkillsStrong written and verbal communicationHigh ownership and consistent follow-throughAbility to independently manage multiple projects and shifting prioritiesResourcefulness and comfort operating without an established playbookGood judgment when handling sensitive, financial, safety, or customer-related mattersComfort working in a hands-on engineering, laboratory, or workshop environmentInterest in startups, hardware, manufacturing, or emerging technologyPreferred SkillsPrior startup operations experience is helpful but not required.
