Then you’ve come to the right place!\nE-Space is bridging Earth and space to enable hyper-scaled deployments of space-powered Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and services. We are fundamentally changing the design, economics, manufacturing, coverage limitations and service delivery associated with traditional satellite and terrestrial IoT systems.\nBy building a highly-advanced low Earth orbit (LEO) space system—with a unique antenna design, highly sustainable spacecraft system and low-cost, small portable end-user devices—we can extend global satellite coverage, capacity and connectivity beyond legacy space services to provide a new kind of IoT platform that lets users sense, track, connect and act on information gathered, anywhere.\nWe’re intentional, we’re unapologetically curious and we’re 100% committed to saving space, protecting our planet and turning connectivity into actionable intelligence.\n\nOverview\nWe are looking for a hands-on electrical test engineer to build and operate part of the test infrastructure that validates our spacecraft’s cutting-edge communications technologies. What matters is that you know how to handle and test critical hardware rigorously as well as write structured and Git-versioned Python code.\nWhat you will do:\nPCBA design verification and system integration testing: gather and propose requirements, elaborate test plans, assemble samples, automate, carry out measurement campaigns and document results.\nBuild and own test stations: design based on requirements, develop test-related PCBs when needed, bring up, automate and maintain in running order.\nPython-based Git-versioned test automation: use/build instrument drivers, come up with unit tests (acquisition + processing + data logging), implement modular and parametric test sequencing, share code with other engineers.\nRun test campaigns: component-level validation, sub-system acceptance, flight hardware handling (mostly EM/EQM units).\nDocument results, feed performance models, support design reviews.\nCarry out incoming inspection, first article checks, board-level debugging.\nTake part in AIT and qualification campaigns (environmental, vibration, radiation testing).\nWhat you bring:\nBsc +5, Msc +3 in Electrical Engineering.\nHands-on experience with PCBA and Components testing\nFamiliarity with laboratory instruments: multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers.\nSolid experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA).\nStrong Python skills, including the ability to develop well structured, documented, versioned and maintainable code.\nExperience building and operating test stations.\nGood PCB design skills related to testing needs (Altium preferred).\nOrganized and proactive problem-solving personality that thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced startup environment.\nBonus points:\nExperience with spacecrafts and space environment.\nExperience with environmental/qualification testing (radiation, thermal cycling, vacuum, vibration, electromagnetic compatibility).\nExperience with reliability/lifetime testing.\nFamiliarity with common embedded communication interfaces (SPI, I²C, UART, CAN, R-232, RS-422, RS-485).\nWhy E-Space is right for you:\n\nWe want you to make the most of your journey at E-Space. That’s why we support and invest in the physical, emotional and financial well-being of our team members and their families. Some of what you can expect when working at E-Space:\n\nAn opportunity to really make a difference\nSustainability at our core\nFair and honest workplace\nInnovative thinking is encouraged\nCompetitive salaries\nContinuous learning and development\nHealth and wellness care options\nFinancial solutions for the future\nWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
