Shift Supervisor

About us Port City Java is a specialty coffee roaster and coffeehouse franchisor based in Wilmington, North Carolina. Founded in 1995, it has over 25 cafes in the United States. Our goal is to Exceed the expectations of every guest on every visit. This role serves as a Shift Leader with a strong emphasis on leadership, training, and coffee knowledge. The candidate would work in tandem with the Café Manager to ensure that operations within the café run smoothly and efficiently. The candidate is responsible for task delegation and deployment of baristas in order to create and maintain hospitality in the café and support the needs of business levels. The candidate is also responsible for US Foods and Roasting order fulfillment, barista development and coaching, and contributing to a positive team dynamic. When the Café Manager is not present, the candidate is responsible for the daily operations and guest experience in the café. This role is hourly and is eligible to receive tips.
