This individual will be joining their Corporate solutions team and will be responsible for being a leading participant in an engineering team and contributing to software design, development, and overall product lifecycle for our corporate solutions applications. In addition to working with other engineers and architects, field questions from other teams and encourage cross-team collaboration. Play an active role working with third party vendors. Create foundational code elements that can be reused. Define software level objectives for applications.Duties And Responsibilities (other Duties as Assigned)Builds rapid prototypes to explore viability of solutions fit to product strategy and upon alignment from stakeholders scale the solution and productionize itIdentifies, implements, and shares technical solutions that can be used across the organizationIdentifies unsecured code areas and implements fixes as they are discoveredIdentifies application enhancements (client-facing or technical) to create a better experience for the end usersCollaborates with Enterprise Architects and stakeholders to create meaningful architecture diagrams and other documentation needed for security reviews or other interested partiesDefines service level objectives for application to constantly measure their reliability in production and help prioritize backlog work.Writes custom code or scripts to automate infrastructure, monitoring services, and test cases also to do “destructive testing” to ensure adequate resiliency in productionCreates meaningful dashboards, logging, alerting, and responses to ensure that issues are captured and addressed proactivelyIdentifies application enhancements (customer-facing or technical) to create a better experience for the end usersCreates meaningful architecture diagrams and other documentation needed for security reviews or other interested partiesProvides application support for software running in productionProactively monitors production and lower environments service level objectives for applicationsWorks with vendors to help identify and implement feature enhancements in applicationsWorks with other engineering teams to create and consume API specifications and contracts for shared dataProactively reviews the performance and capacity of all aspects of production: code, infrastructure, data, and message processingTriages high-priority issues and outages as they ariseParticipates in the Backoffice On-call ScheduleEducation, Experience & Certifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field.
