Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.DescriptionCaptivation Software is looking for a mid level systems engineer who will assist with daily responsibilities and be able to travel 3x/year for 7-10 days at a time.RequirementsSecurity Clearance:Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizenMinimum Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus one (1) year of systems engineering experience.Required Skills:Experience with coding Python and Visual Basic for applicationsStrong experience in applying RF theoretical and academic knowledge in EMI testing unintended emissions within HF, VHF, and UHF spectrumFamiliar with RF tools (network analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes) and components (amplifiers, filters, isolators, attenuators, terminators, etc.)Formulating and documenting test plansDraft and issue technical recommendations through formal test reportsSpecify and/or review system and component technical performance requirements to ensure optimal functionality while meeting E3 noise electric field limit.Collaborate internal and external agency stakeholders to ensure technical support enables the E3 Program and customer mission requirementsDesired Skills:Preferred but not required to have experience in electromagnetic compatibility testing, electromagnetic interference mitigation, and /or antenna calibration.This position is open for direct hires only.
