PACKER/INSPECTOR - 2nd shift

Job OpportunityPackage life-saving medicines on high-speed computerized assembly line. Conduct visual inspection, move product on and off assembly line. Strictly follow standard operating procedures and documentation requirements. Identify and report problems. Must be willing to become qualified inspector.Make minor adjustments and assist with changeover and set-up to equipmentVisually inspect vials and labelsAssure that the packaged product meets all specificationsPerform visual inspection of labeled vialsComply with all SOP's and cGMP'sContinue to train as well as train other crew membersMaintain a clean and organized work environmentAssure a safe working environment and wear clean room safety equipment/apparelWork overtime as neededHigh School diploma or GED requiredMust be able to lift up to 40lbsMust be able to perform repetitive workMust be able to focus on details for periods of time [i.e. visual inspection, labeling]Must be able to use pallet jacks to pull/push pallets of productMust be able to pass Vision 5 visual acuity testing administered by occupational health administrator, pre-employment and annually thereafterPrevious machine operator experience or mechanical aptitude are preferred, particularly HMI experienceWe offer an excellent salary and benefits package including medical, dental and vision coverage, as well as life insurance, disability, 401K with company contribution, and wellness program.Please note that joining our team does not create a guaranteed or permanent employment arrangement.
