We’re people-first, team-oriented, and looking for someone excited to contribute to meaningful, high-impact work.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nWork with developers and project management in a highly transactional OLTP environment to build new and support existing SQL code, structures, and data\nCoach, train and lead a team of 2 SQL Application Developers\nEvaluate and performance tune existing procedures and data\nAnalyze business needs and software requirements to help determine feasibility of work within time and resource constraints\nProject life cycle involvement – planning, estimates, documentation, development, testing and deployment\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nWe value strong fundamentals, curiosity, and the ability to grow. If you have a solid foundation and are excited to learn, we want to hear from you.\n\nRequired fundamentals:\n5+ years of recent experience with MS SQL Server 2016+, preferably in an e-commerce environment\nExperience with designing SQL Structures and procedures to support highly transactional applications.\nExperience fine-tuning SQL functions and stored procedures called hundreds or thousands of times per minute.\nDeep understanding of database design principles\nExperience with Data modeling\nCreating tables for relational data, views, stored procedures, and indexes.\n3+ years experience leading a team of SQL Developers\nTechnologies you may work with here (These are things you’ll encounter, not hard requirements, so exposure to even a few is great):\nMicrosoft SQL Server\nSQL Profiler, Performance Monitor, and other related tools\nXML, JSON, MS Excel, MS SQL Server, and Tableau\n\nWho You’ll Work With\nYou will work closely with the ecommerce team, application developers and project management to design, support, and optimize SQL solutions in a high transaction e-commerce environment.
