Our Accounting and Finance team plays a critical role in ensuring accuracy, transparency, and financial health across every phase of construction. Our internship program is designed to provide real exposure to construction finance in a fast-paced, professional environment.Internship OverviewThe Construction Accounting & Finance Intern will support the accounting and finance team with day-to-day financial operations related to active construction projects. This role offers hands-on experience in construction accounting, job costing, budgeting, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reporting within a real-world setting.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with accounts payable, including invoice review, coding, and data entryAssist with accounts receivables, including tracking billings, payments, and follow-upsSupport job cost tracking and cost coding across active projectsAssist with invoice reconciliation and vendor/subcontractor recordsHelp organize and maintain financial records related to projects, vendors, and clientsAssist with budget tracking and variance reportingSupport month-end close activities and internal financial reportingGain exposure to construction-specific accounting practices, internal controls, and financial workflowsWork closely with project managers and office staff to understand how financial decisions impact the fieldWhat We’re Looking ForCurrently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related fieldStrong attention to detail and accuracyComfortable working with spreadsheets and financial dataInterest in construction, real estate, or project-based accountingProfessional communication skills and discretion with confidential informationWhat You’ll GainHands-on experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable in a construction environmentReal world exposure to job costing, budgeting, and financial reportingInsight into how financial management supports successful construction projectsMentorship from experienced accounting and finance professionalsA strong foundation for careers in accounting, finance, or construction management
