This individual will manage a large technically diverse team, fostering customer relationships, while overseeing financials, cost, and schedule for a variety of projects and contracts. This position requires a leader with a proven track record of providing their staff growth opportunities by identifying, capturing, and winning new contract work in addition to on-contract growth to expand their portfolio and diversify our customer base.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain effective customer relationships with a variety of stakeholdersSupervise and mentor a large, technically diverse teamExecute independently program management duties that include, but are not limited to, managing day-to-day operations, maintaining work plans and timelines, tracking and projecting program spending, preparing status reports/briefs, and ensuring program status is communicated to all stakeholdersWork closely with the customer, cross-functional teams, and assigned engineers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, resources, work plan, budget, and scheduleCollaborate with government customers, contractor partners, and technical leads to develop long-term strategies and prioritize near-term taskingCultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with government and contract mission partners across the Department of War (DoW) and Intelligence Communities (IC)Manage subcontracting, consulting, and procurement activities for assigned programsAssess program issues and develop resolutions to meet schedule, quality, and customer goalsIdentify and capture new growth opportunities to expand business portfolioOther duties as assignedQualificationsActive Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI/SAP12+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Business/Management/Entrepreneurship, or related fieldsActive Program Management Professional (PMP) certificationPrior program management experience with a DoW or IC contractorMust have recent experience managing R&D programsProven track record of identifying, capturing, and solidifying new work along with on-contract growth opportunitiesExperience managing financials across a variety of projects and contractsExperience managing subcontractors, consultants, and procurement activitiesExperience in proposal development Demonstrated experience creating and presenting reports, briefings, and program related information to a variety of government and internal stakeholders Global Comp $130,000 - $190,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
