Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.\n\nDescription\nCaptivation Software is looking for a senior level systems engineer who shall be responsible for overseeing the engineering and management aspects of HPC systems to make sure that all the architected components are properly installed, configured, and integrated as defined in the HPC system architecture. This position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills as the System Engineer shall be responsible for collaborating with other program personnel and communicating to USG stakeholders and senior executives.\n\nRequirements\nSecurity Clearance:\nMust currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen\nMinimum Qualifications:\nTwenty (20) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.\nDemonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.\nBachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.\nFive (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree\nRequired Skills:\nProficiency using the Linux CLI\nExperience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate tasks\nGeneral HPC technical knowledge regarding compute, network, memory, and storage components\nExperience with Configuration Management principles and concepts\nExperience with CI/CD principles, concepts, best practices, and tools such as GitLab CI\nExperience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles, concepts, and automation tools such as Ansible\nFamiliar with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and applications\nExperience managing or contributing to large-scale projects, including timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation\nExperience with Metrics and Monitoring software frameworks used for searching, monitoring, and analyzing data\nDesired Skills:\nExperience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)\nExperience with Git Version Control\n\nThis position is open for direct hires only.
