This is a greenfield engineering role responsible for creating the \"brain\" of an advanced thermal management platform integrating liquid cooling, air cooling, and facility water systems.The successful candidate will define the overall control philosophy, develop control logic, drive system architecture, and lead multidisciplinary engineering teams from concept through prototype validation.\r\n3. Key Responsibilities\r\nDevelop the overall control philosophy for large-scale liquid cooling systems.\r\nTranslate operating philosophy and transient operating concepts into detailed control logic.\r\nCreate functional logic diagrams and control narratives.\r\nLead development of P&IDs from a control's perspective.\r\nDefine PLC/DCS control architecture and software functional specifications.\r\nDesign supervisory control strategies integrating: Liquid cooling systems, Air cooling systems, Facility water management.\r\nOverall thermal optimizationDevelop advanced control algorithms including feedback, feed-forward, cascade, and predictive control strategies.\r\nDefine sensor architecture, instrumentation philosophy, and control interfaces.\r\nWork closely with mechanical, thermal, and modularization engineers to ensure scalable system design.\r\nSupport prototype development, commissioning, tuning, and performance optimization.\r\nLead technical discussions with partners, customers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.\r\nMentor engineers and establish engineering standards for future product development.\r\n4. Deliverables Expected from the RoleSystem Architecture Document covering logical, physical, network and deployment architecture.\r\nControl Philosophy and Functional Design Specification for power, cooling and facility automation systems.\r\nI/O list, signal list, data dictionary, communication matrix and integration register.\r\nClient/SCADA/DCIM integration architecture and interface control document.\r\nAlarm philosophy, alarm priority matrix, trend configuration and reporting requirements.\r\nCybersecurity zoning and conduit diagram for OT/IT interfaces.\r\nFAT/SAT/IST test strategy, commissioning support documents and handover package.\r\nRisk register covering availability, safety, maintainability, cybersecurity and vendor dependency.\r\n5. Qualification & Experience12-18+ years of experience in industrial controls and automation.\r\nProven experience designing control systems from concept rather than only maintaining existing systems.\r\nStrong expertise in PLC and DCS architecture.\r\nExperience developing functional specifications, control narratives, and logic diagrams.\r\nDeep understanding of dynamic process control and system tuning.\r\nExperience integrating multiple subsystems into a unified supervisory control architecture.\r\nPreferred Technical Skills' programming (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, ABB, Yokogawa, Client, Emerson, etc.).\r\nDistributed Control Systems (DCS).Model-based and advanced process control concepts.\r\nInstrumentation and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, OPC UA, BACnet).\r\nControl system simulation and commissioning.
