Industrial Painter

Responsibilities Operates painting tools, measuring devices, spray booth and ventilation system with minimal supervision Perform routine and continuous painting operations for Military, commercial and dry film parts with minimal supervision Performs and understands NADCAP operations with some guidance Reads and follows work orders or standard work to perform Paint functions Understands quality criteria and quality notification with guidance Maintains clean and safe working environment in line with company policies It takes an active role to ensure Environment, Health, and Safety standards and procedures are met and complied with Looks for ways to eliminate safety hazards and improve the overall safety of the workplace Provides continuous improvement ideas Ensure quality product Audit work area for safety compliance Adhere to all Client rules and codes of conduct Perform other duties as required and available for overtime as necessary Requirements 0-1 years relevant job experience in a paint shop or experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to mask, hang, powder coat, unhang & inspect parts under supervision Ability to understand and perform to quality criteria for appearance Conduct inventory as directed to ensure raw materials and supplies are available Ability to read and understand engineering drawings & work instructionsAbility to read blueprints with some supervision Basic mechanical knowledge. Basic Computer Skills Basic Shop Math Skills Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment. Willing to perform hand and body warm-up exercises to minimize potential for repetitive motion injuries Must be able to work in a standing position up to 8 hours per day.
