JOB DESCRIPTIONFox News Media is seeking a Studio & Field Technician to support both podcast and live television production in South Florida. This role will primarily support “Hang Out with Sean Hannity” and “Hannity” on Fox News Channel. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-profile production environment.a Snapshot Of Your ResponsibilitiesSupport production for the “Hang Out with Sean Hannity” podcast and “Hannity” (weeknights on Fox News Channel)Edit podcast content using Adobe Premiere or similar non-linear editing (NLE) softwarePrepare and optimize video content for social media platforms including X, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, YouTube, and TikTokParticipate in all stages of production: pre-production, live/taped recording, and post-productionManage and organize media assets and production filesOperate and troubleshoot audio equipment, including audio consoles/mixers for live and recorded contentWork with production equipment including Blackmagic ATEM switchers, HyperDecks, Videohub routers, and multiviewersTroubleshoot studio and field equipment, including lighting and audio systemsCollaborate closely with editorial teams in New York and South Florida Stay current on social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure content remains and relevantWhat You Will NeedBachelor’s degree in New Media or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience3+ years of experience in a TV studio, field production environment, talk radio, or podcast productionExperience creating content for social media, including vertical video formatsProficiency in Adobe Premiere; familiarity with Photoshop and podcast tools such as Riverside and Descript preferredFamiliarity with PTZ robotic camera operationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlinesConfidence working with on-air talent and in live production settingsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively across teamsWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
