This role leads the care team, coordinates clinical services, partners with families and healthcare providers, and plays a key role in resident assessments, care planning, and regulatory compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesResident Care & Clinical OversightEnsure high-quality, compliant care services for all residentsConduct pre-move-in, initial, and ongoing resident assessments; oversee care plans and reassessmentsMonitor resident condition changes and communicate with physicians, families, and leadershipServe as care manager and clinical resource for residents and familiesCoordinate nursing services and ensure continuity of care across departmentsLeadership & Team DevelopmentRecruit, hire, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate wellness team membersEnsure adequate staffing in accordance with budgets, policies, and state regulationsOversee caregiver orientation, continuing education, and required state trainingProvide coaching, performance feedback, and disciplinary recommendations as neededMedication & Safety ManagementOversee medication management, pharmacy coordination, and proper storage and documentationEnsure compliance with medication administration policies and emergency proceduresMaintain safety protocols, emergency preparedness, and special accommodations for residents with additional needsOperations, Compliance & CollaborationMaintain accurate resident records and required documentationParticipate in regulatory surveys and inspectionsMonitor department expenses and assist with budget preparationSupport occupancy and referral efforts through tours and collaboration with sales teamsParticipate in daily stand-up meetings and interdisciplinary communicationRequired Qualifications & ExperienceActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland, in good standing requiredMinimum four (4) years of clinical leadership experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior livingDemonstrated experience with state survey readiness, regulatory compliance, and quality assuranceStrong background in resident assessments, care planning, and medication management oversightProven leadership and team management experience in a senior living settingAbility to meet the physical requirements of the role and complete required health screeningsCompassionate, collaborative leader with a commitment to delivering exceptional care to older adultsSolera Senior Living is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
