Job Description POSITION SUMMARY:You will work as part of a team where discipline and rigor are the highest priorities. You will perform complex operations that require a high level of attention, concentration and coordination.RESPONSIBILITIES:As a Heavy Lift Truck Operator, you must be able to:Operate a high capacity lift truck to handle oversized complex partsIdentify the lift truck components and report abnormalities if applicableUse safe methods while operating the lift truckRespect the load limit considering the handling techniques and standardsScan environment, assess risks and take the necessary precautionsMust be able to safely load, unload or handle hazardous materials, including paint waste and used oil, while following safety proceduresPerform other duties as assigned by the production supervisor.*** May be out of the lift truck up to 50% of the timeVALUED SKILLS :VigilanceSense of observationPrecision and rigorTeam spiritCollaborationFollow established proceduresREQUIREMENTS :Must be able to :Climb stairs and ladders; work at heightsLift and carry between 30-70 lbs.Stand and walk for long periods of timeBend, kneel, squat, twist, reachWork above shouldersTolerate exposure to weather, hot/cold environmentsASSETS:Relevant experience or training#marp1This position opening is on the night shift.
