Natural Resources Worker (Park Maintenance)

Role Description This is a part-time, seasonal, on-site position located in Mentor, OH for a Natural Resources Worker. In this role, you will assist with tasks like maintaining and cleaning the beach and surrounding park grounds, ensuring the safety and cleanliness of park faciilities, landscaping, and supporting conservation projects. The position also includes responsibilities such as performing general groundskeeping, trail maintenance, and providing visitor assistance as needed. Qualifications Knowledge of natural resource management practices and a passion for conservationExperience or skills in grounds maintenance, equipment operation, outdoor labor, and facilities maintenanceAbility to work effectively in outdoor environments and perform physical tasksStrong communication and teamwork skills to interact with colleagues and the publicWillingness to follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environmentPrevious experience in facilities maintenance, landscaping, park management, and equipment operation is a plus
