Working under the guidance of the Facilities Manager, Performs routine facilities maintenance duties such as painting, plumbing, landscaping, and other related assignments.\n\nTransdev is proud to offer:\n\nPosition Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement:\n\n$25.08 per hour\n\nBenefits include:\n\nVacation : up to 35 days per year- based on years of service and hours worked\n\nPaid Sick Leave: 40 hours per year; medical, dental & vision after 90 calendar days of employment for full-time employees, life insurance, 401k retirement benefits, and company holidays\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nPerforms routine preventative maintenance on equipment.\n\nPerforms non-routine repairs to equipment.\n\nUses tools and operates equipment needed to perform job functions; equipment includes power tools, forklifts, scissors lift, and floor scrubbers.\n\nAssists with cleaning trucks, equipment, and grounds.\n\nAssists with moving furniture and equipment.\n\nQualifications:\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent, such as GED, required.\n\nA California valid drivers’ license.\n\nPreferred 1 to 2 years of progressively responsible experience in building and grounds maintenance.\n\nAbility to understand and interpret instructional manuals containing schematic drawings.\n\nAbility to read a ruler and blueprint schematics.\n\nAbility to use a wide variety of hand tools and repair equipment.\n\nBasic understanding of construction methods and mechanical devices.\n\nAbility to learn and comply with governmental regulations\n\nSubject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\nThe essential functions of this position require the ability to:\n\nWork outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions\n\nFrequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces\n\nPush and pull objects, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level\n\nWithstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.\n\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
