We offer acquisition management, systems engineering, Agile software development, cloud management, IT modernization, data analytics, cybersecurity, and training, including leading‑edge DevSecOps, automated testing, and mobile application development.\n\nResponsibilities\nYour essential job functions will include but may not be limited to-\n\nCollaborate with engineering teams to enhance tools, systems, pipelines, and security posture.\n\nProvide customer‑facing support for troubleshooting, incident response, and operational issues.\n\nPerform Linux server administration and system hardening.\n\nSupport network infrastructure components including BigIP F5, VPNs, firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS, and SFTP.\n\nManage and optimize cloud infrastructure in AWS (EC2, VPC, Lambda, S3, EFS, ECR/ECS, Route53, IAM, RDS, Autoscaling, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, etc.).\n\nBuild, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, Xray, Jira, and SonarQube.\n\nWrite, debug, and maintain code across compiled and scripted languages.\n\nImplement and maintain Infrastructure-as‑Code using Terraform.\n\nAutomate manual operational tasks using scripting and DevOps tooling.\n\nConduct system testing for security, performance, and availability.\n\nDevelop and maintain documentation for design, troubleshooting, and audit readiness.\n\nImplement security controls aligned with DoD, NIST, and industry best practices.\n\nParticipate in an after‑hours on‑call rotation to support customer environments.\n\nProvide audit support, including generating artifacts, evidence, and compliance documentation.\n\nServe as an SME for Appian or MarkLogic, supporting application deployments, troubleshooting, and customer inquiries.\n\nQualifications\nRequired Experience and Education:\n\nMaster’s degree with 6 years of experience (or bachelor’s with 8 years of experience) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or related IT discipline.\n\nDegree may be substituted with additional relevant industry experience and/or industry accepted training and certification.\n\nResponsible for developing the DevSecOps and Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) architecture of small systems or subsystems of larger system.\n\nSelect tools, technologies, and methodologies that support automated build, deploy, operation, and monitoring of systems.\n\nCoordinates across cross‑functional teams to remove impediments to CI/CD in order to accelerate capability delivery and increase the quality and reliability of operational system.\n\nUltimately responsible for the DevSecOps architecture of the sub‑system.\n\nPreferred Skills:\n\nAppian or MarkLogic SME experience\n\nExperience supporting DoD or federal enterprise systems\n\nFamiliarity with audit frameworks (RMF, NIST 80053, CMMC, etc.)\n\nStrong customer service and communication skills\n\nExperience with automated testing, containerization, or Zero Trust architectures\n\nSecurity Requirements:\n\nSecret Clearance with the ability to obtain a T5\n\nSecurity+CE\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer:\n\nCommIT Enterprises, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
