The role focuses on improving data quality, consistency, and usability across the current SAP environment in support of ERP optimization and future system consolidation.\nKey Responsibilities\nIn conjunction with the central data team, assist with the evaluation and execution of a plan to standardize key SAP data objects across the enterprise\nAnalyze existing SAP master and transactional data to identify inconsistencies, gaps, and data quality issues\nSupport data cleansing, mapping, validation, and remediation activities tied to data standardization efforts\nCollaborate with SAP functional teams across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Sales to align data structures with business and process requirements\nPerform data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency post standardization and conversion\nSupport mock conversions, testing cycles, and defect resolution related to data changes\nWork directly with plant and business users to validate standardized data and confirm operational usability\nDocument data standards, definitions, rules, mappings, and conversion procedures\nSupport ongoing data governance and continuous improvement initiatives\nKey Data Objects Supported\nMaterial Master\nBill of Materials BOM\nVendor Master\nCustomer Master\nMRP Parameters\nSales and Distribution settings\nPlant and operational master data\nRequired Qualifications\nExperience supporting SAP data analysis, data conversion, or data migration initiatives\nStrong understanding of SAP master data concepts, particularly in manufacturing environments\nExperience working with large datasets across multiple plants or business units\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, inconsistencies, and root causes\nAbility to work onsite and collaborate directly with plant and business stakeholders\nStrong communication skills with the ability to translate technical data issues into business terms\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrior experience supporting ERP optimization or SAP ECC to S4 related initiatives\nExperience with manufacturing plant data and operational processes\nFamiliarity with SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, or FI from a data perspective\nExperience supporting data governance or master data management initiatives\nWork Environment\nOnsite presence required at Novi, Maumee, or designated manufacturing plants\nCollaborative role working with SAP functional consultants, data teams, and business users\nLong term program with phased rollouts and extended engagement opportunities\n\nNorth Point Technology is THE BEST place to work for curious-minded engineers motivated to support our country's most crucial missions!
